Lori Jacobus-Crawford

Born in New Jersey in 1957, where I lived and worked until 1989. After graduating from Columbia High School in 1976, I worked for the next 12 years for various Wall Street brokerage firms on their Municipal Trading desk. In 1989 I married and moved to Alabama where I've raised 3 children, worked at local volunteer organizations and owned an antique/gift shop. I have always been involved in the arts, mainly dance, but at some indefinite moment visual arts became my passion, a path I never dreamed would become a career. I primarily paint in oils and acrylics and love painting the human form. My education consists of experimentation, books, museums and private lessons.
